Devitty began long before it had a name. Back when Aref Abou Trabi was a computer science student working as a senior barista at Dunkin’ Donuts, he spent his breaks helping regular customers with small programming projects. One of those projects grew into something much larger, and after a series of conversations over coffee cups and quick code fixes, Aref realized he could turn his skills into a real brand — even though he had no name, no funding and no clear roadmap yet. He reached out to his friend Makould Shbeeb for ideas, and Makould pitched the name “Devitty” with a breakdown only a true tech friend would give: Dev for development, IT for information technology, TT because it somehow fit with HTTP, and Y simply to make it catchy. It sounded bold, clever and unexpectedly perfect. That moment became the starting point of Devitty — a freelance software studio built with a clear vision: create digital products that feel more enjoyable, more thoughtful and more human than anything else in the market.
